Hello and welcome! I am going to post some photos of baby Avery ASAP so you can all see how gorgeous she is.

She has gained her birthweight back and then some....at her appt. yesterday it was determined that she grew 1/4 inch and is now 7 lb., 12 oz. They are happy when they get back to where they started at birth since they do tend to lose a bit of weight before breastmilk comes in, etc. So - she is really a good eater and already 8 oz. beyond her birthweight! She has been sleeping a ton although she is more easily stirred now which is a bit challenging with two loud little boys but we're all surviving. Keeping her healthy is the biggest challenge and Holden and Quinn have colds right now and basically it's a BIG deal if infants under 3 mo. get a cold virus since they cannot breathe easily. I am being vigilant with Airborne, Purell hand sanitizer and good ol' handwashing too. I am still not 100% since the last virus I had but I am very close.

We attempted to get Quinn's stitches out today but only managed to get two out - he was not very cooperative and so we'll return on Saturday morning to get the remaining stitches removed (hopefully). I wasn't there but according to T.J. he was doing more damage to the wound and would not hold still so I'll go along on Saturday and help out if I can. I did capture a picture for your viewing pleasure of the bruiser with his wound before we got anything removed.
